Most families wish they had captured more stories before it was too late. This project creates a meaningful way to preserve someone's voice, personality, and presence alongside timeless portraiture.
The result is more than a session. It is a legacy piece your family can return to for years to come.

We begin every Legacy Story Experience with a thoughtful conversation to learn more about the person you want to honor and the stories you want to preserve. You’ll have the opportunity to share what matters most, and we’ll gently guide you in shaping an experience that feels meaningful and personal.
This experience is designed to feel relaxed, comfortable, and unrushed. We’ll begin with a guided portrait session, followed by a conversation where stories naturally unfold.
You’ll receive thoughtful prompts ahead of time to help you reflect, but many people are surprised by how easily the memories come once we begin.
Professional hair and makeup is included, so you feel comfortable, confident, and at your very best for the experience.
After your session, you’ll return for a private reveal where you’ll see your portraits and revisit the stories that were captured.
Together, we’ll select your favorite images and finalize how they will be preserved — whether as heirloom artwork, a custom album, or as part of your Legacy Story Film.
If you’ve chosen to create a film, this is where we refine the story — selecting images and identifying meaningful photos or moments to incorporate, so everything comes together in a way that feels complete and deeply personal.

This film captures one woman’s voice, her memories, and the messages she wanted to leave for the people she loves most — preserved in a way her family will be able to return to again and again.
In addition to the main story, Jean also recorded personal messages for her children, grandchildren, and husband — moments that will remain part of her family for generations.
