Many women tell me they hesitate to step in front of the camera.
They worry they’re not photogenic, that they don’t know how to pose, or that it has simply been too long since they last had a portrait taken.
But something magical happens during this experience.
With thoughtful guidance, professional styling, and a relaxed environment, women often discover a version of themselves they haven’t seen in years — confident, vibrant, and completely at ease.
The Beautiful You Experience is designed to celebrate exactly that.

Portrait Experience
The Beautiful You Experience is thoughtfully designed to be relaxed, empowering, and genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end. Every step of the process is guided so you can simply show up, feel confident, and enjoy the experience.
1. Start the Conversation
Every Beautiful You experience begins with a conversation.
During this initial consultation, we talk about your story, your style, and what inspired you to participate in the project. This is also where we discuss how you would love to see yourself portrayed — whether that feels elegant, relaxed, bold, or quietly confident.
This conversation helps shape a portrait experience that truly reflects you.
2. Prepare for Your Session
Next, we schedule your Style & Design Consultation.
During this planning session, we walk through wardrobe ideas, styling options, and the overall vision for your portraits. Together we select pieces that photograph beautifully and reflect your personality.
Many women bring several outfit options so we can create a variety of looks — from polished and professional to relaxed and personal.
This preparation allows you to arrive at your session feeling confident and excited.
3. Your Guided Portrait Session
On the day of your session, you will begin with professional hair and makeup so you look and feel your absolute best.
From there, your portrait session unfolds in the studio where you’ll have time to enjoy several wardrobe changes and a variety of looks.
You never have to worry about how to pose or what to do — I guide you through the entire process so the experience feels natural, comfortable, and even a little fun.
After your session, we review your portraits together using a proven selection process designed to help you choose the images you truly love.
Your portraits can then be enjoyed in a variety of ways, including:
• beautiful wall art for your home
• a timeless album
• or the popular StoryKeeper Box, which holds a collection of matted portraits that can be displayed, rotated, or shared with family and friends.
Many women participating in the Beautiful You project are drawn to the StoryBox because it allows them to keep multiple portraits together while also gifting individual images to the people who matter most.
4. The Beautiful You Celebration
Once all forty women have been photographed, we bring everyone together for a special gathering to celebrate the project.
This invite-only event is designed to bring together the remarkable women who participated in the Beautiful You Experience.
It’s an opportunity to:
• celebrate the women featured in the project
• connect with other inspiring women in a similar chapter of life
• share stories and experiences from the portrait sessions
• and simply enjoy an evening surrounded by a supportive and uplifting community.
The Beautiful You Celebration is a reminder that this project is about more than portraits — it’s about honoring the strength, confidence, and stories of women who continue to shape the world around them.
